THE MISSION OF TABLE ROCK WRITERS WORKSHOP is:
--to promote a generous, supportive environment where adult writers at all levels of experience can reflect on the challenges and rewards of writing and focus on improving their craft.
--to offer first rate instruction across genres with an emphasis on identifying, shaping and polishing each participant's distinctive voice and material.
--to foster a spirit of community where all participants maybe receive an honest and sensitive appraisal of their works in progress.
SoLaTiDo is a five-day retreat for aspiring and seasoned songwriters. Here's a chance to get away from your regular environment and make time for your work in the company of other troubadors. Participants, whether beginning or accomplished writers, will have a chance to learn from each other in song circles, with morning writing prompts, and peer collaborations. We'll record one or two songs from each participant for a CD and prepare together for a showcase of individual works in progress in concert.
